This week, I will share 2 more of my favorite movies. I still have more and I'll post 2-3 of them at a time. No need for subtitles for these since they're all in English.
Fingersmith - This is one of the best in my list. You will love this movie.
Plot:
Susan "Sue" Trinder is a fingersmith (British slang for thief) who lives in the slums of London with a baby farmer (person who looks after unwanted babies) Mrs.Sucksby. When a once rich man, who gambled all his money away, presents them with a scam that has a payout of 40,000 pounds, Sue signs on to swindle rich Maud Lilly. Maud is an orphan who lives with her uncle, but what exactly is going on in the Lilly house? Sue will pose as Maud's maid so that Mr.Rivers (the gentleman) can get close to and eventually marry her. Their plan is to put Maud in the madhouse and take the money for themselves. All goes astray though when Sue falls in love with Maud. And the question is: Who can you trust? IMdB

Can't Think Straight - This is one is cute, especially how they fell in love.
Plot:
In the upper echelons of traditional Middle Eastern society, Reema and Omar prepare for the marriage of their daughter Tala. But back at work in London, Tala encounters Leyla, a young British Indian woman who is dating Tala's best friend Ali. Tala sees something unique in the artless, clumsy, sensitive Leyla who secretly works to become a writer. And Tala's forthright challenges to Leyla's beliefs begins a journey of self-awareness for Leyla. As the women fall in love, Tala's own sense of duty and cultural restraint cause her to pull away from Leyla and fly back to Jordan where the preparations for an ostentatious wedding are well under way. As family members descend and the wedding day approaches, the pressure mounts until Tala finally cracks and extricates herself. Back in London, Leyla is heartbroken but learns to break free of her own self-doubt and her mother's expectations, ditching Ali and being honest with her parents about her sexuality. I posted this a lot sooner than expected. Why? Because I'll be extremely busy with work this week and I may forget about it. hehehe
Anyway, here's part 2 of the best yuri movies I've seen so far. Not all of them has a happy ending though but the stories are good. Please note, I'm starting with Asian films (non-english). Once I ran out, I'll start with English films.
Butterfly [Hu Die] (Hong Kong)
Out of the 4 I listed today, this is my favorite. It has a good ending too :)
Plot: Flavia is a thirtysomething married teacher. She has suppressed the memory of her adolescent lesbian fling with Jin and is stuck in a stifling marriage. A chance encounter in a supermarket with the playful and seductive singer Yip reawakens dormant feelings and she begins to think back on her teenage affair with Jin.

Spider Lilies (Taiwan)
Plot: Takeko keeps a framed design of the spider lily flower on the wall of her tattoo parlor. The design was literally cut from the flesh of her father, after he was crushed to death in an earthquake. The image of thespider lily tattoo is the last cohesive memory of Takeko\’s traumatized brother, Ching, who is no longer able to recognize anyone, including his sister. Takeko has the same tattoo of the poisonous flower on her body in the hope of helping Ching remember and bridging the gap between them.
Webcam girl Jade visits Takeko\’s tattoo parlor, looking for sexy decoration to excite her clientele. Entranced by the tattoo of the spider lily on the wall, Jade gives Takeko her business card and invites her to visit her on her website where she professes her love for the tattoo artist. Finally, jade asks takeko to give her the same spider lily tattoo to bring her closer to the object of her desire.

Memento Mori (Korean Horror Movie)
Plot: Min-Ah finds a strange diary, capable of arousing hallucinations, kept by two of her senior fellow-students, Hyo-Shin and Shi-Eun, who seem to have an unusually close bond. But Hyo-Shin suddenly kills herself, for no obvious reason, and the entire school is shocked and depressed. Min-Ah, however, starts to feel different. It's almost as if she's somehow possessed by the dead girl.

To mark the celebration of my blog's second year anniversay, I will start posting Yuri Movies. It seems a lot of you have been asking me that lately so I'll add a new feature to here.
Note, these are just the ones I've seen and liked so I will recommend them to you. Also, just like ShizNat Fanfiction, I will post them in parts.
This week, I will start you off with Mild Yuri/Shoujo Ai films that I really love. I recommend you watch these (non-english). They have subtitles, of course so I suggest you use VLC player for this. Also, please note, they are only available for torrent download.
The Voice (Korean Horror Movie)
I really love this one. Yuri is subtext and the story is really good. Don't worry, it's not that scary.
Plot: While training after hours in her high-school, the aspirant singer Park Young-Eon is mysteriously killed and her body vanishes. Her ghost is invisible and trapped in the school, but her best friend Kang Sun-min, who broadcast in the lunchtime in school, is able to hear her voice. After the suicide of their music teacher, Sun-min, aided by her mate Cho-Ah, finds that another student, Hyo-Jung, died in the same elevator trunk some time ago. Meanwhile Young-Eon recalls details of her life, disclosing why she died.

Wishing Stairs (Korean Horror Movie)
This is one of my favorites. Yuri is visible here. It's like a tragic love story of two-almost-lovers.
Plot: In a Korean boarding school, there is a legend about its twenty-eight steps stairway: when the twentieth-ninth step appears, the fox will grant a wish to the climber. The lesbian ballet student Kim So-hee is in deep love with her passive girlfriend and also ballet student Yoon Jin-sung. When there is a competition for a single spot in a famous ballet school in Russia, the envious Jin-sung finds the twentieth-ninth step and asks to beat the favorite So-hee.
However, there is a price to pay for the wish unknown to Jin-sung and the consequence is the accidental death of So-hee. Meanwhile, the fat student Eon Hae-ju, who is despised and tormented by her classmate Han Yoon-ji, misses So-hee. When she also finds the mysterious step, she wishes the return of So-hee with tragic consequences.

Fine, fine.. I'll give you a bonus. Since you watched both horror movies, you'll need something to lighten up the mood. So here it is. This was suggested to me before, I forgot who it was (sorry about that) but I'm grateful for your contribution.
Yes or No (Thai Lesbian Movie)
This one was fun to watch. The story is good and some scenes were hilarious.
The plot isn't that unique, it's typically really. Girl A feel in love with Girl B. Then after things got complicated, Girl B denied their relationship.. They broke up and later, Girl B tried to find Girl A. She apologized, asked for a second chance and they got back together. Don't we all wish that yuri relationships have a similar happy ending? :)
Plot: A so-called Thai lesbian movie, Yes or No tells the story of Pai, a college girl who holds a negative attitude about tomboys. Yet she finds out that her new room-mate, Kim, is a woman who dresses like a man and who likes women. The initial mistrust slowly changes into something else as Kim begins to pursue Pai.
